Stroke Porcelain

Utility Fabric

Stroke Porcelain is a light, porcelain-toned cream with a close, tactile texture. In the swatch, delicate irregular strokes form a softly rippled surface rather than a flat plain.

About this fabric

Stroke Porcelain reads as a pale porcelain cream, rather than a stark white, across the swatch. Its surface is built from short, irregular looped or crinkled lines that travel in softly broken horizontal bands, creating a fine all-over texture. The raised yarn catches the light unevenly, so the face shifts subtly between ivory-bright and gently shaded cream.

How to use it

Use this quiet porcelain cream on an armchair, sofa or upholstered headboard where its small-scale nubby texture can add depth without introducing a strong motif. Its light tone pairs naturally with warm whites, pale timber and softly layered neutral upholstery.

The pale porcelain cream and fine nubby texture bring gentle definition to relaxed upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
