The Royal Garden Red Carpet

Belleville Fabric

The Royal Garden Red Carpet brings a warm terracotta-red ground to Belleville’s exuberant botanical scene. Blue-grey cranes, ornamental vessels, layered blossoms and olive-green foliage create a richly illustrated surface with plenty of visual depth.

About this fabric

Printed on 100% linen, this 137cm-wide design combines repeated cranes, flowering branches, leafy sprays and blue-and-white urns in a detailed conversational pattern. The coral-terracotta background gives the colourway a warm, lively presence, while dusty blue, olive, cream, blush pink and charcoal-grey accents temper its brightness. Its flat printed finish keeps the intricate imagery clearly defined rather than adding a raised or plush effect. It is supplied for curtains and fixed upholstery, with a General Domestic upholstery grade and dry-clean care.

How to use it

Use the warm terracotta ground to anchor a relaxed sitting room, pairing it with olive or aged blue accents that pick up the foliage and birds. As curtains, it can introduce the full garden composition; on a chair or headboard, the large-scale print becomes a decorative focal point.

A richly detailed botanical print that brings warm terracotta colour and an ornamental, collected feel to curtains or domestic upholstery.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside The Royal Garden Red Carpet without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
