About this fabric

The swatch shows a plain, tightly woven Venetian blue with a muted, slightly greyed tone rather than a bright or saturated blue. Fine pale threads intersect across the surface, creating a discreet textile grain and softly varied finish. At approximately 137cm wide, it is specified for fixed upholstery and carries Contract and General Domestic upholstery grades. The listed composition is 15% linen, 20% acrylic, 20% viscose and 40% cotton, with professional dry cleaning required.

How to use it

Use this cool blue on a tailored chair, sofa or banquette where its softened tone can balance warm timber, natural linen and pale neutral walls. The subtle woven grain also gives blue upholstery a quieter, more considered look than a flat saturated colour.
