About this fabric

The repeating composition is filled with paired birds, curling stems, flowers and dense foliage, with the dark indigo background giving the artwork considerable depth. Mineral blue details soften the ground, while olive green, parchment, blush and coral notes provide restrained contrast rather than bright saturation. This fabric has a 139 cm usable width and a 286 gsm weight, making the substantial patterned cloth suitable for both upholstery and drapery. Its pattern repeat measures 53 cm vertically by 46 cm horizontally, and the construction is listed at 39.3 threads per cm.

How to use it

Use the cool indigo ground to anchor a library chair, sofa or full-length curtain, pairing it with warm timber, aged brass and plain mineral-blue or olive textiles. The small coral and creamy accents can be picked out in cushions or painted joinery without competing with the dense pattern.
