About this fabric

Fine scrolling stems, pointed leaves and stylised flower forms interlock across the surface, with the indigo linework creating strong definition against the lighter hemp-coloured areas. Muted gold highlights warm the design without taking it out of its predominantly cool blue register. At 260 gsm and 89 threads per cm, this is a substantial, closely woven fabric with a clear, detailed face. The pattern measures 32 cm vertically by 23 cm horizontally, and the usable width is 139 cm.

How to use it

Use this cool indigo colourway on an accent chair, blinds or curtains where its pale foliage can brighten the scheme without losing depth. Balance the dense pattern with hemp linen-look plains, chalky walls and small touches of aged brass or warm ochre.

Pair the cool indigo ground with pale woods, warm neutrals and aged brass to draw out the hemp and muted-gold accents.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
