About this fabric

The pale stone background lets the rounded tree crowns and curling botanical stems read clearly across the swatch. Artichoke-toned leaves and olive branches are interspersed with russet, dusty red and muted plum flowers, giving this colourway a warm, quietly aged character rather than a bright, high-contrast feel. At 406 gsm and 137 cm usable width, the fabric has a substantial presence suited to upholstery. Its 76 cm vertical repeat and 137 cm horizontal repeat provide a generous scale for placing the repeated trees and smaller flowering motifs.

How to use it

Use this warm russet and artichoke colourway on an upholstered chair, headboard or sofa against pale stone, warm ivory or muted olive walls. Keep accompanying textiles restrained so the large tree canopies remain the focal point.

A substantial Morris botanical with a pale ground, olive foliage and warm russet accents.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
