Compass Check Stone has a softly muted stone-beige ground crossed by fine taupe-grey lines. Its closely spaced check reads calm and tailored, with the woven surface giving the pale colour gentle depth.

About this fabric

The small check is formed from narrow vertical and horizontal lines, creating a neat grid rather than a bold graphic statement. Its warm beige-stone tone is softened by cooler grey-taupe detailing, giving the swatch a balanced, understated appearance. Woven in 100% cotton, the fabric is 135 cm (53.04") wide and has a 4 cm (1.57") vertical repeat with a 5 cm (1.96") horizontal repeat. It is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads; care instructions require professional dry cleaning and prohibit washing, bleaching and ironing.

How to use it

Use the warm stone ground to soften a light-neutral room, or pair it with weathered timber, chalky paint and muted taupe upholstery. The fine check is especially effective on relaxed curtains, occasional chairs or a tailored bedspread where its quiet grid can be seen at close range.
