About this fabric

The design is formed from very narrow vertical stripes, with muted French blue lines alternating against a much paler ground. The colour reads cool and airy rather than saturated, while the fine weave gives the surface a gently softened appearance instead of a stark printed contrast. Its slender stripe and apparently lightweight handle make it particularly suitable for drapery, where the vertical direction can add quiet height to a window. No performance features or further specification data are supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Pair this cool French blue with chalky whites, soft greys and pale natural woods for a restrained scheme. Used at a window, the fine vertical stripe will add subtle rhythm without overwhelming a room.

Use the cool pale blue stripes to bring quiet definition to curtains, Roman blinds or relaxed window treatments.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
