Hamlin French Blue

Lorcan Fabric

Hamlin French Blue pairs a quiet blue-grey ground with a crisp ivory trellis of diamonds and elongated, stepped motifs. Its close woven texture gives the pattern a softly tactile, gently structured finish.

About this fabric

The cool French-blue ground is muted rather than saturated, giving the colourway a calm, lightly weathered depth. Ivory lines form repeating diamonds and narrow ogee-like shapes, with small stepped details that sharpen the geometric rhythm. A fine woven texture is visible across the surface, softening the contrast without blurring the pattern. No performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Use Hamlin French Blue to introduce a cool, composed note to seating, cushions or window treatments, pairing its blue-grey ground with ivory, chalk or pale timber accents.

Use the cool blue-grey and ivory contrast to bring calm structure to a contemporary or relaxed room.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
