Orvieto Fabric

Chennai Acai brings a deep, dusky purple ground to the Orvieto collection, crossed by closely spaced horizontal flecks and small geometric marks. The close-up reveals a compact woven surface with subtle shifts between plum, charcoal-grey and muted lilac.

About this fabric

The colour reads as a rich acai purple rather than a bright violet, giving the swatch a shaded, atmospheric depth. Small, repeated horizontal motifs form tidy staggered rows across the surface, creating a measured geometric rhythm without a large-scale pattern. Grey and soft lilac threads break through the darker ground, catching the light in fine, textural accents. Its visibly substantial, tightly woven appearance makes this colourway suitable for both upholstery and drapery.

How to use it

Pair Chennai Acai with warm neutrals, smoked wood and brushed metal to temper its dark berry tone, or use it on a statement chair where the small-scale geometry can be appreciated up close.

Use the deep acai ground to bring graphic rhythm and dusky colour to upholstery or relaxed window treatments.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
