Elvey Velvet Kingfisher
Otelie Velvet
Elvey Velvet Kingfisher brings a lively botanical study to an ivory ground, with loose painted leaves and small flower-like forms in cool blue-green tones. The pattern has an airy, hand-rendered quality, while the velvet base gives the colourway added depth.

About this fabric
The design is scattered with elongated leaves, slender stems and delicate botanical shapes in kingfisher blue, turquoise, sage and touches of olive green. Against the pale ivory background, the saturated blue marks provide clear contrast while the softer washes keep the overall impression light rather than dense. As a velvet, this fabric is particularly well suited to upholstery, where its soft surface can give chairs, headboards or occasional pieces a richer finish. No performance features or further technical specifications have been supplied for this colourway.
How to use it
Use the cool blue-green pattern on an accent chair, bench or headboard, balancing it with ivory upholstery, pale neutrals and natural timber. Deeper teal or ink-blue accessories can draw out the strongest painted leaves without overwhelming the light ground.
Pair the cool kingfisher blues and watery greens with crisp ivory, pale timber or deeper teal upholstery accents.

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Elvey Velvet Kingfisher without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
