About this fabric

Woven in 61% viscose, 26% cotton and 13% polyester, this Kailzie colourway combines a softly textured handle with a clear chevron repeat that reads across the cloth in stacked, tonal bands. The 25,000 Martindale result and listed suitability for curtains, blinds and upholstery make it a practical choice for either fitted furnishings or statement drapes. Its 140cm usable width and 18cm horizontal by 31.5cm vertical pattern repeat give the design room to settle into larger pieces. In this blue version, the palette moves from misty pale blue through denim and slate, creating a cool, calm finish rather than a bright coastal look.

How to use it

Pair Kailzie Blue with pale oak, brushed chrome and chalky neutrals to keep the colourway airy. On upholstery, the darker blue bands give enough contrast to anchor a room without feeling heavy.

Use it for relaxed upholstered pieces or curtains where the zigzag weave can show its soft blue depth.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
