Saxon Charcoal/Dove

Country Stripes FabricSAF0071-02

Saxon Charcoal/Dove presents a disciplined vertical stripe with a deep charcoal ground and fine dove and ivory bands. The result is sharp but not harsh, with a cool, tailored feel that reads clearly in the cloth.

About this fabric

This striped Sanderson fabric is supplied with a usable width of 138 cm and a 35.5 cm horizontal pattern repeat, making the stripe rhythm easy to plan across furnishings. At 250 gsm, it has enough substance to sit neatly on upholstery while still feeling versatile for other interior uses. The charcoal ground in this colourway is softened by pale dove and off-white pinstripes, so the design feels restrained rather than high-contrast. With 63 threads per cm, the weave appears fine and even, giving the surface a clean, composed finish.

How to use it

Use it where you want a crisp, architectural stripe without stark black-and-white contrast: on a compact armchair, a bench, or tailored cushions. It pairs neatly with pale oak, putty neutrals and smoked mirror finishes.

A crisp, tailored stripe that works well on classic seating or relaxed blinds.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Saxon Charcoal/Dove without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
