About this fabric

This Sanderson fabric from the Curios Weaves collection has a substantial 620gsm handle and a tightly woven surface that gives the stripe a crisp, tailored presence. The colourway reads as a muted blue-grey, with softer pale bands set against slightly deeper teal-blue notes, so the design feels fresh rather than bright. Its 143cm usable width and small repeat of 4.5cm vertically and 7cm horizontally make it practical for considered upholstery schemes where the pattern needs to sit neatly. With 134 threads per cm, the cloth has a refined, close-set texture that supports the sharp linear look visible in the swatch.

How to use it

Pair this cool blue stripe with chalky whites, pale oak and brushed nickel for a clean, composed interior. It works especially well on an accent chair, bench or bedroom headboard where the vertical rhythm can lift the room.

Use to bring a crisp, tailored feel to a scheme without adding strong contrast.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Toba Udaipur blue without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
