About this colour

In this #BFBBB2 shade, Owlswick reads as a soft mid-light greige with a warm, dusty edge. It holds light gently rather than reflecting it sharply, so it can make a room feel quieter and more grounded. In a north-facing room it will lean cooler and a touch more muted, bringing out its grey side. In south-facing light the beige in it comes forward, making it feel warmer and more inviting beside oak, walnut, linen shades and pale painted woodwork. In Active Emulsion or Waterbased Eggshell it suits both walls and joinery where a restrained, lived-in colour is wanted.

How to use it

Owlswick works well in sitting rooms, bedrooms and hallways where you want a colour that stays easy beside upholstered furniture. It sits neatly with dark timber, natural oak, mushroom-toned curtains and simple off-white woodwork.
