Dalby Mole shows a restrained lattice pattern in a soft mole taupe ground, with a pale, chalky motif that lifts the surface. The effect is quietly decorative and easy to live with.

About this fabric

This fabric has a usable width of 138 cm and a substantial 305 gsm weight, giving it enough body for upholstery while still remaining versatile enough for drapery. The design reads as a small-to-medium repeating lattice, with a white, leaf-framed outline set against a warm grey-taupe base. The weave has a lightly textured, linen-like appearance that softens the geometry and keeps the overall look relaxed rather than crisp. With a pattern repeat of 23.5 cm vertically and 17 cm horizontally, it will show neatly across cushions, chairs or curtains without feeling overly busy. The 34 threads per cm specification supports the fabric’s dense, polished finish.

How to use it

Use Dalby Mole on an accent chair, bench or tailored cushions where the pale motif can sit comfortably against timber and stone tones. It also works well at the window, where the soft taupe ground will read warm and understated in natural light.

A calm taupe lattice that brings subtle pattern without overpowering a room.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
