About this fabric

This Titley & Marr fabric has no performance features noted, and the swatch shows a tightly woven, textured surface with a compact basket-like grain. The colour reads as a very dark nutmeg-charcoal, softened by subtle brown undertones rather than appearing flat black. Light catches the raised threads just enough to reveal depth across the weave, giving the cloth a restrained, sophisticated finish. Its mid-to-heavier visual body suggests a fabric that can work well where a stable, tailored look is wanted.

How to use it

Use this shade to ground lighter upholstery schemes or to frame pale timber and stone finishes. It also works well in smart, understated interiors where a dark textured neutral brings warmth without competing with the room.

A dark, grounded neutral that adds texture without drawing attention.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
