About this fabric
The fabric has a warm pale-beige ground crossed by a fine, irregular serpentine weave in a slightly deeper taupe shade. Its close pattern is small in scale and reads as textured rather than decorative from a distance, while the gathered folds show subtle changes in light across the surface. The soft, pliable drape visible here suggests a versatile mid-weight cloth suitable for upholstery or drapery. No composition, width, rub-test or performance specification has been supplied for this colourway.
How to use it
Use Horton Gull to keep a room light and quietly layered, pairing its soft beige tone with chalky whites, pale timber and muted taupe accents. Its small-scale texture can also temper stronger plain or patterned furnishings without introducing a bold contrast.
A softly neutral beige with a fine meandering texture that suits relaxed upholstery and curtains.

Pairs well with
Horton Gull is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
