Romeo Graphite

Romeo Fabric

Romeo Graphite is a cool, textured stripe in layered graphite and pale grey. The close horizontal pattern gives the cloth a crisp, tailored look with a softly slubbed surface.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% polyester, Romeo Graphite is specified for upholstery and carries a 50,000 Martindale rub test, making it a practical choice for everyday seating. The 137 cm width and H35 x V1.5 pattern repeat support the fabric's regular striped layout, which reads as fine bands of graphite, mid-grey and lighter neutral threads. Visually, the colourway feels restrained and urban, with the darker lines giving definition while the softer grey ground stops it from feeling harsh. The weave has a lightly textured, almost linen-like character that adds movement across the narrow stripe. This is a smart, steady colourway that works especially well where you want pattern without strong contrast.

How to use it

Use Romeo Graphite on a clean-lined armchair or banquette to add subtle structure without overpowering the room. Its cool grey palette sits neatly with pale oak, black metal and chalky wall colours.

A cool graphite stripe that gives modern upholstery quiet depth and texture.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Romeo Graphite without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
