About this fabric

The visible surface is plain and richly dark, with a close, brushed texture rather than a printed motif or raised pattern. Light catches the pile along the folds, creating restrained tonal movement across the charcoal-black ground. Its dense-looking handle and plush appearance make it best suited to upholstery, particularly on seating where the folds can reveal the depth of the shade. No performance features are noted in the supplied specification, so no tested durability rating is claimed here.

How to use it

Pair Velluto Coal with warm timber, aged brass and soft ivory upholstery for contrast, or use it in a tonal black-and-charcoal room for a more enveloping effect. Its subtle sheen helps dark seating retain visual depth rather than appearing flat.
