About this fabric
This densely woven fabric combines charcoal, graphite and pale grey in irregular vertical bands, with darker edges and softly broken transitions between each section. The fine horizontal texture is clearly visible across the swatch, giving the darker areas a lightly striated, almost brushed appearance rather than a flat black finish. Its structured weave and pronounced vertical layout make it best suited to upholstery applications where the pattern can read as a strong architectural field. No composition, width, rub-test or performance data has been supplied for this exact fabric.
How to use it
Use Cecil Graphite on a tailored chair, headboard or statement sofa in a cool-toned room, pairing it with pale grey upholstery plains, blackened metal and softly aged timber. The deep graphite bands will add definition without the starkness of a solid black textile.
