About this fabric

Catalogued as a fabric from Zinc Textile’s Dvvtextures collection, Broadway Umber is shown here as a dense, textured weave rather than a smooth or flat cloth. Cream and warm umber-brown yarns form small staggered checks, with the uneven edges and flecked intersections creating a softly weathered appearance. The umber is muted rather than saturated, so it reads as a grounded brown accent against the lighter ground. Its substantial-looking woven texture makes it especially convincing for upholstery where the small pattern can add detail without dominating the piece.

How to use it

Use Broadway Umber on a lounge chair, ottoman or compact sofa where its cream-and-umber balance can warm a room without becoming heavy. Pair it with walnut, aged oak, ivory upholstery piping or softly coloured plains to pick up the weave’s quiet, tactile character.
