About this fabric

The visible weave forms irregular crosshatched blocks rather than a crisp geometric check, giving the design a weathered, painterly character. Subtle violet-grey highlights catch across the darker ground, creating depth without bright contrast. The cloth appears densely woven and substantial, making it a natural choice for upholstery-led schemes. No performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Pair this cool, dark aubergine colourway with charcoal timber, smoked glass and softened grey upholstery, or use it as a dramatic accent against warm stone and aged brass.

Use this deep aubergine shade to add moody depth to tailored seating and dark tonal interiors.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
