About this fabric

The design is formed from broad, irregular waves and narrow rippling lines that move organically across the cloth rather than following a regular repeat. In this colourway, the mauve reads cool and smoky, with lighter raised lines catching the light against the deeper taupe-purple ground. A subtle surface lustre enhances the tonal contrast without making the fabric appear glossy. No further performance or construction specifications have been supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Use Athénée Mauve on an occasional chair, sofa or full-length curtain where its smoky purple-grey tone can soften a room of stone, taupe and dark timber. The flowing pattern works especially well against simple silhouettes, allowing the texture and tonal movement to remain the focus.

Pair the muted mauve tone with warm taupes, weathered timber and softly aged metallic accents.
