About this fabric

This colourway reads as a muted ochre-brown rather than a flat tan, giving the abstract pattern a grounded, enveloping character. Fine linear ridges form overlapping wave-like shapes across the face, creating subtle relief and depth without a high-contrast motif. The fabric is catalogued as a textile fabric, and no performance features are noted for this exact colourway.

How to use it

Pair Oriku Cumin with walnut, smoked oak, aged brass and warm stone to build a layered, earthy scheme. Its restrained brown tone would bring depth to a sofa, headboard or occasional chair without overwhelming the room.

Use this warm cumin tone on upholstered seating where its fine rippling texture can add quiet depth.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
