Ferndown Green/Pink combines a pale, cool sage-green ground with an airy arrangement of fern fronds, leafy stems and blush-pink foliage. The delicate botanical layout has a softly vintage, pressed-plant character.

About this fabric

This 132 cm-wide fabric is woven from 90% cotton and 10% linen, with a fine, lightly striated surface visible beneath the printed design. Sage ferns and olive-green leaves contrast with muted blush and terracotta-pink sprays, while larger pink leaves give the repeat added depth. The pattern measures 64 cm vertically and 44 cm horizontally, creating a noticeable but balanced scale for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. With a 20,000 Martindale rub test, it is suited to considered upholstery use; professional dry cleaning is required.

How to use it

Pair the cool sage ground with natural oak, warm ivory and aged brass, using the blush-pink leaves as a restrained accent on a chair, window seat or relaxed curtain scheme. The muted palette also works well across a bedspread with plain sage or linen-toned upholstery.

Use the soft sage ground and blush-pink foliage to bring a gently romantic botanical note to curtains, upholstery or bedspreads.
