About this fabric

Made from 90% cotton and 10% linen, this 132 cm wide fabric combines a gently textured natural-fibre handle with a softly illustrated botanical design. Muted denim and powder-blue foliage sit alongside sage and blue-green leaves, while the light cream background keeps the overall effect open rather than saturated. The pattern has a 64 cm vertical repeat and a 44 cm horizontal repeat, allowing the varied stems and foliage to build an even rhythm across the cloth. With a 20,000 Martindale rub test, it is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads; professional dry cleaning is required.

How to use it

Use Ferndown Blue for relaxed upholstered seating or full-length curtains in a room with pale timber, chalky walls and quiet blue-green accents. Its cream ground can lighten larger pieces, while the fern and leaf forms bring layered colour without a strong contrast.
