Bridport Aqua combines a pale, cool aqua ground with an intricate garden scene of blue-green architectural forms, leafy branches and coral flowers. Its softly faded palette gives the detailed design a gentle, timeworn character.

About this fabric

Fine branches, fern-like foliage and small coral blossoms fill the ground, while repeated blue-green clustered forms create strong vertical accents across the design. The aqua, sage and blush-coral colours read softly against the light background, with enough contrast to keep the large-scale pattern legible. Made from 100% cotton, this 139 cm wide fabric has a 70 cm vertical repeat and a 69.5 cm horizontal repeat, so careful pattern planning will be useful. It is suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads, has a 20,000 Martindale rub test, and must be professionally dry cleaned.

How to use it

Pair Bridport Aqua with chalky painted timber, pale natural woods and warm coral or terracotta accents to echo the flowers without competing with the busy botanical scene. The cool aqua ground works especially well on relaxed curtains, a statement chair or a coordinated bedspread.

Use the cool aqua ground to bring a light, collected feel to curtains, upholstery or a patterned bedspread.
