Lorelle Natural/Forest

Botanica Fabric FabricCCF0217-03

Lorelle Natural/Forest pairs a softly textured natural ground with finely drawn fern fronds in muted olive and forest green. The open arrangement lets the pale background remain prominent, giving the botanical design a light, quietly rustic character.

About this fabric

The visible cloth has a substantial, finely cross-textured surface, reflected in its 368gsm weight and suitability for both upholstery and drapery. Slim fern stems and larger feathery fronds are spaced across the ground, with the 48cm vertical and 67cm horizontal repeats establishing a generous botanical scale. The green is earthy rather than bright, shifting between olive and deeper forest accents as the frond details overlap. With a 134cm usable width and 40m standard length, it is practical for coordinated room schemes as well as individual furniture or window treatments.

How to use it

Use the natural-and-olive palette against warm timber, rattan or chalky painted furniture; on a chair or cushion, the deeper forest detailing adds definition without making the room feel dark. Full curtains would emphasise the relaxed, airy spacing of the fronds.

Use the muted olive fern pattern to bring a calm, natural note to upholstery, cushions or full-length curtains.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Lorelle Natural/Forest without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
