Bowmont Cranberry

Burlington FabricCCF0588-02

Bowmont Cranberry shows a deep, slightly muted cranberry-red ground broken by closely spaced fine vertical stripes. Cool grey-blue lines catch the light against the warmer red weave, giving the surface a measured, tailored character.

About this fabric

Across the swatch, the cranberry ground is crossed by narrow cool grey-blue lines and darker red tonal bands, creating a restrained stripe rather than a bold motif. Its supplied 415 gsm weight and visibly compact woven texture give the fabric a substantial upholstery appearance. The usable width is 144 cm, with a standard length of 30 m. There is no vertical pattern repeat and the horizontal repeat is 8 cm, making the fine stripe straightforward to align across upholstery panels.

How to use it

Use this deep cranberry colourway on a tailored armchair, sofa or dining seat where its warm red depth can anchor a room. Pair it with muted greys, aged timber and the cooler grey-blue pinstripes for a composed, quietly graphic scheme.

A substantial cranberry stripe for tailored upholstery, with cool fine lines adding quiet definition.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Bowmont Cranberry without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
