Zocalo Rust brings a softly weathered mix of rust, blue-grey, taupe and pale neutrals to the Espectro Weaves collection. Its irregular, block-like pattern is enriched by a visibly ridged horizontal weave that gives the colourway depth rather than a flat printed appearance.

About this fabric

This 407gsm woven has a substantial handle suited to upholstery, with a 141.5cm usable width and a standard 30m length. Fine horizontal threads run across the surface, while broken vertical and rectangular areas create a medium-scale abstract pattern with a gently distressed character. The rust is muted rather than bright, appearing in warm terracotta flashes against smoky blue-grey, taupe and soft beige grounds. With 20.8 threads per cm and a 42.5cm vertical by 35.5cm horizontal repeat, the design offers enough variation to keep larger upholstered surfaces visually active without becoming sharply graphic.

How to use it

Use Zocalo Rust on a statement armchair, sofa or ottoman where its warm terracotta notes can sit alongside aged timber, tan leather and blue-grey accents. Its softened, mineral-like palette also works well with neutral walls and layered woven cushions.
