Nevada Ebony

Havana and Nevada FabricCCF0514-05

Nevada Ebony is a near-black woven fabric with a quiet, irregular crosshatch texture visible across the surface. Its deep charcoal-black tone absorbs most of the light, while the woven lines add close-up depth rather than a decorative motif.

About this fabric

The dense black ground is softened by fine horizontal and vertical slubs, creating a restrained textile texture that reads almost graphite in the lighter threads. At 440 gsm, Nevada Ebony has the substantial visual weight expected of a hardwearing upholstery cloth. It is supplied at a 275 cm usable width, with no vertical or horizontal pattern repeat, allowing efficient cutting across broad upholstered panels. The standard length is 40 m.

How to use it

Use Nevada Ebony on a tailored sofa, headboard or occasional chair where its cool, near-black tone can anchor a room. Pair it with pale oak, brushed metal or warm ivory textiles to bring definition to the subtle woven surface.

Use this deep ebony ground to give upholstered seating a crisp, architectural presence while allowing lighter timber and metal accents to stand out.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
