Karina Gunmetal

Karina FabricCCF0009-11

Karina Gunmetal has a deep brown-grey appearance with a cool, charcoal-led cast. Its close woven surface forms an irregular crosshatched texture, giving the plain colour subtle movement rather than a printed pattern.

About this fabric

This substantial woven fabric weighs 400gsm, making it well suited to upholstery where its textured surface can be appreciated across furniture. Fine dark and lighter threads intersect across the face, creating a softly uneven ground that shifts gently with the light. The fabric has a usable width of 142cm and no pattern repeat vertically or horizontally, so the surface can be positioned without matching a motif. It is supplied in a standard 40m length.

How to use it

Use Karina Gunmetal on a sofa, armchair or dining seat where its deep brown-grey tone can anchor a room without the flatness of a solid charcoal. Balance the cool, smoky shade with warm timber, aged metal or lighter woven accents to bring out the visible crosshatch.

A weighty, finely crosshatched neutral that brings depth and tactile interest to upholstered furniture.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
