Karina Charcoal

Karina FabricCCF0009-07

Karina Charcoal is a deep, near-black textile with subtle brown-grey undertones and a finely worked woven surface. Its close-up texture shifts between darker and lighter threads, giving the plain colour quiet depth rather than a flat finish.

About this fabric

The visible surface is formed from irregular horizontal and vertical yarn texture, creating a softly mottled charcoal appearance with a restrained, almost graphite-like character. At 400gsm, this is a substantial fabric suited to upholstery applications where its dense visual weight can read clearly across a larger piece. The usable width is 142cm, with a standard length of 40m. With a 0cm vertical and 0cm horizontal pattern repeat, the textured ground can be cut without matching a repeating motif.

How to use it

Pair Karina Charcoal with pale timber, warm stone and brushed metal to soften its near-black depth, or use it on a statement sofa for a tailored, quietly dramatic focal point.

Use this deep charcoal weave to give upholstered furniture a grounded, tailored finish with subtle surface depth.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
