Piero Jacquard Linen presents a pale ivory ground overlaid with broad, softly broken taupe brushstrokes. Its jacquard surface gives the quiet colourway gentle depth without making the abstract pattern feel harsh.

About this fabric

At 521 gsm, this is a substantial woven fabric well suited to upholstery applications. The warm ivory background is interrupted by large, irregular taupe-beige marks that resemble loose calligraphic or architectural strokes, with the weave adding a lightly raised, tactile finish. The large-scale design has a 150 cm vertical repeat and a 69.5 cm horizontal repeat, so its placement will be an important part of the upholstery layout. It has a usable width of 139 cm and a standard length of 35 m.

How to use it

Use the softened ivory and warm taupe palette on a tailored sofa or statement armchair, pairing it with natural wood, chalky walls and darker brown accents to give the pale ground more definition. The expansive motif is especially effective across broad upholstered surfaces where its broken shapes can be seen clearly.

Use this substantial ivory and taupe jacquard to bring softly graphic texture to sofas, occasional chairs or upholstered headboards.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
