About this fabric

This Noir colourway is woven as a tight, slightly irregular check, with charcoal-black and smoky-grey bars crossing pale ivory threads. The close-up reveals a tactile, softly textured surface rather than a flat printed design, with subtle tonal variation where the weave catches the light. At 411 gsm and 138 cm usable width, its substantial construction is well suited to upholstery. The pattern repeat measures 12.7 cm vertically by 11.5 cm horizontally, keeping the check relatively compact across a chair or sofa. The standard length is 35 m.

How to use it

Use the cool charcoal, grey and ivory contrast on a tailored armchair, dining seat or contemporary sofa where the compact check can read clearly without overwhelming the form. Balance its near-black depth with pale timber, brushed metal or warm ivory accessories.
