About this fabric

The pattern is formed from alternating navy and light woven bands, creating small checks with a gently irregular, tactile surface rather than a flat printed finish. The cool ink tone brings depth to the design, while the grey and ivory threads prevent it from reading as solid black or overly saturated blue. At 411gsm, this is a substantial textile well suited to upholstery applications. The usable width is 138cm, with a 12.7cm vertical repeat and an 11.5cm horizontal repeat for planning pattern placement.

How to use it

Use the cool ink, grey and ivory palette on a tailored armchair, dining seat or compact sofa, pairing it with pale timber, brushed metal or quiet grey upholstery plains. The small check can also bring definition to cushions and occasional upholstered pieces without overwhelming the room.

A substantial ink-blue jacquard check with grey and ivory contrast for tailored upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
