Kazimir Jacquard Ink

Metropolitan Fabrics FabricCCF0817-01

Kazimir Jacquard Ink combines deep ink-blue blocks with softened cream grounds in a densely layered woven design. Fine horizontal and vertical threads give the surface a tactile, crosshatched character, while the dark blue areas add cool depth.

About this fabric

The abstract jacquard is built from irregular rectangular marks, interrupted lines and brush-like blocks in ink blue, cream and pale blue-grey. Its 297 gsm weight gives the cloth a substantial mid-weight presence, while the closely woven texture keeps the pattern crisp rather than fluid. The usable width is 137 cm, and the design has a 36.5 cm vertical repeat with a 68.5 cm horizontal repeat. Supplied in a standard 35 m length, this colourway offers a practical balance of graphic impact and measured repeat planning.

How to use it

Use the cool ink-blue and cream palette to bring definition to a tailored armchair, bench or pair of curtains, particularly alongside chalky whites, pale timber and brushed metal. The layered mark-making also works well as a graphic counterpoint to plain upholstery in navy, stone or soft grey.

A versatile 297 gsm jacquard with a structured woven surface, suitable for upholstery and drapery.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Kazimir Jacquard Ink without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
