Juno Jacquard Slate

Metropolitan Fabrics FabricCCF0815-04

Juno Jacquard Slate has a cool, pale slate-grey ground threaded with ivory and softer grey vertical blocks. Its close-textured surface gives the colourway a quiet, architectural depth rather than a flat plain appearance.

About this fabric

The jacquard forms an irregular arrangement of narrow and wider vertical rectangles, with broken edges and varied grey density across the cloth. Slate-grey threads give the pattern a muted, cool tone, while lighter ivory sections catch the light and keep the overall effect bright. At 585gsm, this is a substantial woven fabric suited to upholstery. It has a 136cm usable width, a 35m standard length, and a pattern repeat of 33cm vertically by 34cm horizontally.

How to use it

Use the pale slate tone on a sofa, headboard or occasional chair alongside chalky whites, pale timber and brushed metal. The vertical block pattern adds restrained structure without introducing a strong contrast.

Use this cool slate-and-ivory jacquard on contemporary upholstery where its broken vertical blocks can provide subtle graphic texture.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Juno Jacquard Slate without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
