About this fabric

Woven at 392 gsm, this substantial fabric is well suited to upholstery where its compact striped structure can read clearly across a chair, headboard or sofa. The ink-blue stripes appear slightly varied rather than perfectly uniform, creating a softened rhythm against the creamy ground. It has a 134 cm usable width, a 0 cm vertical pattern repeat and a 1.5 cm horizontal repeat, making the stripe layout straightforward to position. The close tonal contrast gives this colourway a cool, grounded character while the cream threads prevent it from feeling flat or overly dark.

How to use it

Use Taryn Jacquard Ink on tailored seating or a statement headboard, pairing its cool ink tone with ivory, stone and warm timber. The narrow vertical stripes can also emphasise height on a structured upholstered form.

Use the deep ink stripes to bring structure and contrast to tailored upholstery, especially alongside warm creams and natural timber.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
