About this fabric

Woven at 380 gsm, this compact textile has a close plain structure with delicate horizontal and vertical variation that gives the taupe colour subtle depth. The warm greige tone sits between beige and grey, reading softly neutral rather than stark or cool. It has a usable width of 140 cm and a standard length of 40 m. With zero vertical and horizontal pattern repeat, it can be cut without matching considerations, making it particularly straightforward for upholstery work.

How to use it

Use Nantucket String on a tailored armchair, headboard or sofa where its mushroom-taupe tone can soften darker timber and balance cream, putty or charcoal accents. The fine woven texture also adds interest to simple, clean-lined forms without competing with patterned cushions.
