Purus FabricCCF0460-01

Acies Amethyst is a dusky purple woven fabric with a compact, irregular crosshatch texture. Light catches the raised threads unevenly, giving the surface subtle depth rather than a flat plain finish.

About this fabric

The 247 gsm cloth combines muted amethyst, mauve and deeper plum tones in a dense, small-scale woven texture. Its close basket-like construction gives the fabric a softly tactile appearance, while the restrained colour keeps the overall impression sophisticated and calm. At 140 cm usable width, it is suitable for both upholstery and drapery applications. With 0 cm vertical and horizontal pattern repeats, the surface can be used without matching a directional motif.

How to use it

Pair this cool, dusky amethyst with smoky greys, aged timber and brushed metal for a moody contemporary scheme. It also works as a richly toned accent on an occasional chair, blind or pair of curtains against warm neutrals.

Use this cool, dusky amethyst weave to bring depth and quiet colour to upholstery, curtains or cushions.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
