About this fabric

The colour reads as muted mauve-pink, leaning cool and softly faded rather than bright or saturated. A close plain weave is visible across the swatch, with fine horizontal and vertical threads creating a lightly tactile surface and small pale highlights. At 285 gsm and 138 cm usable width, it is a versatile mid-weight choice for either upholstery or drapery. There is no pattern repeat vertically or horizontally, and the standard length is 40 m, so the uninterrupted colour is straightforward to plan across cuts.

How to use it

Use Abbey Heather to introduce a quiet, cool mauve note to an upholstered chair, headboard or pair of curtains. Its dusty pink-purple tone works especially well where a room needs colour with a softened, understated finish rather than a vivid accent.

A cool, dusky mauve-pink woven texture that brings quiet colour to upholstery or drapery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
