About this fabric

This 271gsm Clarke & Clarke fabric has a cool, muted purple tone that reads as eggplant rather than bright violet, with subtle lighter and darker threads shifting across the surface. Its fine, closely woven texture creates a quiet broken effect visible in the swatch while keeping the overall appearance calm and near-solid. The fabric has a 137cm usable width, a 36.5cm vertical pattern repeat and a 34.5cm horizontal repeat. With a standard length of 40m, Spectrum Egg Plant offers a practical scale for coordinated upholstery or drapery schemes.

How to use it

Use this dusky eggplant shade to bring depth to a room without the visual weight of black, pairing it with chalky neutrals, smoked grey or warm timber. Its subtle woven surface is well suited to upholstered seating, cushions and full-length curtains where the purple tone can shift gently in changing light.

A versatile mid-weight textile in a cool, dusky eggplant tone, suited to upholstery and drapery where a quiet woven texture is wanted.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
