Domino Grenat

Domino FabricM4168-06

Domino Grenat shows a fine vertical stripe rhythm in a warm, deep grenat red with tiny dotted accents between the bands. The overall effect is neat, tailored and slightly old-world, with a soft cream ground that keeps the colour from reading too heavy.

About this fabric

This Manuel Canovas fabric is a 60% viscose, 30% cotton and 10% polyamide textile with an approximate 140cm width and a small repeat of V 2cm / H 2cm. The weave presents as a crisp striped ground rather than a flat solid, with narrow red lines and delicate dotted pinstripes creating a measured, decorative surface. In this colourway, the grenat tone feels rich but restrained, more berry-red than bright crimson, and the pale background gives the pattern a lighter, more breathable look. The cloth has enough structure to suit tailored furnishing schemes while the viscose content lends a softer, more polished finish.

How to use it

Use Domino Grenat on a compact armchair, dining chair or pelmet where the vertical stripe can emphasise height. It pairs especially well with oak, brass and parchment-toned walls, letting the deep red read as elegant rather than bold.

A refined red stripe that adds warmth and structure without overpowering a room.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
