Dart Stripe Aqua

Hector FabricF3514-04

Dart Stripe Aqua is a very light, airy stripe with a cool aqua cast that reads softly against an ivory ground. The narrow vertical pinstripes give the fabric a neat, understated rhythm.

About this fabric

Woven in 55% linen and 45% cotton, this fabric has the dry, lightly textured hand you would expect from a linen blend, but with enough cotton to keep the surface smooth and even. The stripe repeat is tiny at approximately 0.5cm horizontally with no vertical repeat, which creates a fine tailored look rather than a bold banded pattern. In this colourway the aqua tone is pale and diluted, sitting close to sea glass or washed mint rather than a strong blue, so it feels fresh without becoming bright. At 146cm wide, it is a practical cloth for larger runs where the restrained stripe can stay clean and uninterrupted.

How to use it

Use Dart Stripe Aqua on window treatments or loose covers where its cool, washed aqua tone can brighten a room without overpowering it. It also works well with chalky whites, pale oak and grey-green accents for a calm coastal scheme.

A crisp aqua pinstripe that feels fresh and tailored on relaxed linen-cotton foundations.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
