Kent FabricL9405-11
Kent Spice is a deep, warming cotton with a close, softly speckled surface and a rich burnt-red depth. The colour reads dark and earthy rather than bright, with a subdued glow that gives it a refined, grounded feel.

About this fabric
Woven in 100% cotton, Kent Spice has a natural handle and a lightly textured face that adds depth without any visible pattern repeat. The shade sits between oxblood and spiced brown, with tiny flecks of lighter yarn catching the light across the surface. At approx. 142cm wide, it offers a practical width for furniture work, and the zero repeat makes cutting straightforward for plain upholstery schemes. The overall effect is warm, muted and substantial, suited to interiors that need colour with restraint rather than shine.
How to use it
Use Kent Spice on an armchair, banquette or headboard to bring a deep russet note into neutral rooms. It pairs especially well with aged oak, tobacco leather and soft stone colours.
A rich, grounded shade that works beautifully on tailored seating and warm accent pieces.

Pairs well with
Kent Spice is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
