About this fabric

This 100% polyester velvet combines deep teal and turquoise brushwork with a distressed-looking grey-green ground, creating the impression of dense grasses reflected across textured water. Tall, fine reed-like blades rise through the design in pale mint, icy blue, navy and violet, giving the 138cm-wide fabric strong vertical movement. With a domestic upholstery grade, it is suited to everyday seating and statement upholstered pieces. The fabric is machine washable and carries Domestic Cig & Match flame retardancy.

How to use it

Pair this cool, aquatic teal colourway with charcoal, aged grey, pale timber and brushed metal for a moody contemporary room. Use it on a feature chair, bench or headboard where the large-scale grasses can remain visible.

Use the cool teal depth to bring painterly character to a statement chair, sofa or upholstered headboard.
