MAE-3380 is a richly layered velvet with horizontal, painterly striations in aqua, turquoise, olive, cream, taupe and soft grey. Its pale ground lets the cooler blue-green marks stand out against warmer olive and beige tones.

About this fabric

Made from 100% polyester, this 138cm-wide velvet has a finely brushed appearance, with closely spaced horizontal lines creating visible movement across the surface. The colourway shifts between fresh aqua and turquoise, muted olive, warm cream and taupe, with grey and mauve-like shadows adding depth. Rated for domestic upholstery, it is suited to seating where the abstract linear texture can be seen across a larger panel. The fabric is machine washable and has Domestic Cig & Match flame retardancy.

How to use it

Pair this aqua-and-olive colourway with warm ivory, pale timber and brushed brass for a softened contemporary room. Its taupe and grey undertones also make it easy to coordinate with neutral upholstery while retaining a distinct blue-green lift.
