Maestro FabricMAE3372A

MAE3372A combines a near-black brown velvet ground with large, painterly blooms in blush pink, ivory, ochre and smoky brown. The dense floral arrangement has a rich, softly theatrical character, with zebra-like dark markings adding depth between the flowers.

About this fabric

This 100% polyester velvet is printed with oversized, loosely painted flowers whose pale petals and warm ochre centres stand out against the deep ground. Dusty pinks, cream and muted brown give the colourway a softened vintage mood, while the blackened background keeps the overall effect dramatic. At 138cm wide, it is suited to domestic upholstery, including statement chairs, footstools and occasional seating. The fabric is machine washable and carries Domestic Cig & Match flame retardancy.

How to use it

Use MAE3372A on a statement armchair or upholstered bench where its dark ground can anchor the room. Balance the blush and ivory flowers with warm timber, antique brass and plain fabrics in charcoal or soft taupe.

Pair the dark velvet ground with aged wood, brass and dusty blush accents for a richly layered scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
